After months of apathy, I can now say wholeheartedly that Aria is my absolute favorite. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. However, what goodwill they gained after forgetting to replenish the coffee supplies the day before was lost when they failed to leave them again. The lobby has this wonderful vanilla-sandalwood scent; the casino is basically the opposite of the Wynncore/Bellagio look; lots of sharp angles and dark colors. Also, I did not see any manager at the hotel, they were either very well hidden at the back or they just do not care how their associates perform. I was also given the option to upgrade to a Bellagio view for an additional $15 night. The walk from the valet to the checkin to the room was about 1 minute. But I've given Vdara 5 dice because 1) its essentially an extension of Aria, and Aria is awesome and, more importantly, 2) its suites are an exceptional value for money. Not for everyone. It is our first time to Vegas and we are debating between the Aria studio panoramic suite or the Vdara executive corner suite. While getting ready to go out for the night, housekeeping left a message on the room phone asking if I required any housekeeping. The Aria is currently my favourite luxury hotel in Vegas to stay at due to the price. 5 minutes from door to slot machine at Aria, Bellagio or Cosmo...will be back for sure! ), several restaurants, an elaborate pool area, shows, bars, etc. was a bit hesitant to book the Vdara since its so far off the strip and doesn't have a casino inside. I was told the rooms with divider were full (yeah right- the hotel wasn't even close to capasity). The coolest place in town. But I have stayed at both Wynn and Aria, and agree that Wynn is a higher level property than Aria.But we did enjoy Aria and would certainly stay there again. But it's a lower-cost room right next to Bellagio (something people longed for early on in the 00's) and a short jaunt to Aria, and it gives you a taste of Aria's technical whizbangs at a lower cost. We have finally narrowed our hotel choice down for our upcoming trip (May 13-17). I really like the layout of the Aria..The Casino Floor is Huge..Won some $money$ so that Help's like a place..The Sport Book is Nothing fancy, But I did Chill out in there for 2 Hours..The look and feel just seem's right for me.. Great Hotel, I love the interior, the restaurants and the pool...though I'm not a fan of the exterior and the CityCenter concept...Aria didn't disappointed me.
